Forced to Stay Home from Work… What to do?

My job, like many other have changed their outlook on staying home from work this year. In fact, I received a letter back in September that if you come to work while showing “symptoms”, you could be fired!

That’s why, for the last 3 days I’ve been home. Sleeping, watching YouTube, planning next years garden… If you’re anything like me, you can’t lay around all day unless you’re too weak to stand, so I’ve been trying to find easy things to do just so I can feel productive. I’ve worked some on a drywall repair that has since turned in to new electric and insulation. I organized my toolbox and slimmed down the number of tools. (Who really needs 6 – half inch ratchets?)

All of the laundry is done and dinner has been a little more creative this week. Still, I feel I’m going stir crazy.

That’s why I’m here right now. Trying to get more content out there for someone to see. Hopefully someone see’s this besides me.

It hasn’t been that bad though. One of my hobbies is photography and this time off gave me a chance to clear off my memory cards and sort through some of the photos I’ve taken this autumn. I’m no professional, but I think they’re pretty nice.

Sun setting over the marsh. A filter might have helped, but they were in my bag back at the truck.
What a beautiful girl. How could I have appreciated life before chickens?
The dog days of autumn, Olive was in heaven.

So, that’s all for today. Thanks for checking in.
